(4 customer reviews)

Designed in collaboration with our friends over at Program J, the Nav Pouch is perfect for your baseplate style compass. It also works well to hold fire starting tools and other essential bits of gear.

With the webbing straps on the back, it can be worn on the belt, piggybacked on a belt knife or neck knife sheath, worn on a backpack shoulder strap or sternum strap. It can also be worn as a stand alone neck pouch by stringing a bit of cord through the lanyard loop.

Description

Features:

  • Heavy duty brass snap, on pass through webbing for crush-free closure. (Brass is generally considered safe to be close to your compass.)
  • Dual 1″ webbing “belt loops” on back allow it to be carried on the belt, piggybacked on a knife sheath, attached to a shoulder strap, or backpack sternum strap.
  • Webbing lanyard loop allows you to dummy cord your gear or wear the pouch as a standalone neck pouch.
  • 1000D CORDURA nylon construction.
  • 3.5″ wide by 4.5″ long.
  • Proudly Made In The USA from USA Made materials.

The Nav Pouch is guaranteed to fit a Brunton TrueArc15 style compass. We know from customer feedback that it also fit the Suunto MC2 and Cammenga lensatic compass’s, as well as most other baseplate compasses under 4″ long. It does NOT fit the Silva Ranger due to the Ranger’s excess length. Due to Silva compasses being made in China, we do not recommend them.
