Changes from the Shackleton V1 to the new Shackleton V2:

1.  Added a webbing grab handle, the number one piece of customer feedback over the years.

2. Replaced the laser cut loop panel with a solid panel of Velcro loop for modular organization. We found that the slots on the V1 were hardly used by the majority of customers and this was a necessary change as we moved production of the Shackleton to a new, more reliable production partner in Montana.

3. Replaced the four little webbing loops on the back (originally intended for piggybacking onto some backpacks) with two larger loops that cross the ends of the satchel. these new loops are much more functional to clip keys or gloves to, but still function as attachment points for mounting the satchel onto a larger pack.

4. Upgraded to a slightly more friction-full webbing on the sliding front buckle track.

5. Reduced the empty weight from 1lb 3oz to right at 16oz.

The Shackleton EDC Satchel features:

• Adjustable, ITW Cobra buckle closure for easy one hand operation.
• Slip pockets on the exterior ends for a flashlight, folding saw, and other quick access tools.
• Webbing loops on the exterior ends for clipping gloves, keys, etc.
• Velcro loop panel inside for modular organization using velcro hook backed pouches and items.
• Two interior pockets, on the front panel, for additional organization.
• 1/8″ padded back panel for comfort and stability.
• Comfortable and adjustable 2″ webbing shoulder strap. (36″ to 60″ range).
• Secondary weather flaps with an ITW side release buckles
  
• 1000d and 500d CORDURA nylon construction
